We are currently seeking an experienced Relief NightRegistered Nurse to join our Residential Aged Careteam on a permanent part-time basis.
A relief position offers the security and benefits ofpermanent employment while providing flexibility within yourroster. This role is ideal for someone seeking regular nightduty shifts with the opportunity to support operationalrequirements across the site. We are currently looking to findsomeone with flexibility to work weekdays, especiallyWednesday and Thursday night shifts (9:00pm -7:30am), with potential opportunities to pick upadditional shifts at our nearby Vivian BullwinkelLodge in the future.
As the senior clinician on duty overnight, you will beresponsible for coordinating resident care, managing clinicalconcerns, supporting and supervising care staff, and ensuringthe highest standards of care are maintained throughout theshift. This role is best suited to an experienced RegisteredNurse who is confident working autonomously and making soundclinical decisions.

About the role:
As a Night Duty Registered Nurse, you will:
- Coordinate and oversee resident care during overnightshifts.
- Conduct clinical assessments and recognise changes inresident conditions.
- Administer medications and deliver complex clinical careincluding wound management and other specialised nursinginterventions.
- Liaise with residents, families, GPs and allied healthprofessionals regarding clinical care and outcomes.
- Monitor and respond to incidents, emergencies and residentdeterioration.
- Supervise and support Care Staff and Enrolled Nursesthroughout the shift.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensurecompliance with aged care standards and legislation.
- Provide leadership and oversight of the facility in theabsence of the Facility Manager and Clinical CareCoordinator.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a RegisteredNurse.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Registered Nursewithin Residential Aged Care, with 12 months or more highlyregarded.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making andproblem-solving abilities.
- Confidence working independently as the senior clinician onnight shift.
- Sound knowledge of medication management, clinicaldocumentation and aged care best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time managementskills.
- A genuine passion for providing quality care to olderAustralians.
- The ability to build positive relationships with residents,families and colleagues.
