Role Responsibilities and Activitie

• Support strategic sourcing projects following IOP policy
• Determining supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
• Selecting qualified vendors and seeking alternative suppliers (when applicable)
• Support risk management assessment relating to supplier vulnerability, sourcing options, and material availability
• Project management
• Leading vendors negotiations (price, schedules, and terms & conditions)
• Evaluate and compare vendor quotes, bids and information and make a recommendation based on the findings.
• Support opportunity assessments and benchmarking to develop sourcing opportunities.
• Review and assist to resolve pricing, quantity and unit of measure issues to ensure payment within terms for all vendors
• Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
• Documenting the sourcing process for audit purposes.
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual IOP Procurement strategic plan.
• Commit to the execution of the IOP Procurement Strategic Plan.

Required Skills

• Language Proficiency: English Advanced/Fluent English; Spanish Intermediate/Advanced
• Excel - Advanced
