Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities within an assigned geographic territory, driving the achievement of sales objectives through effective customer and dealer relationship management. This role implements sales strategies, identifies business opportunities, supports dealer development, and ensures customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach. The manager works closely with cross‑functional teams and dealers to drive business growth, support product initiatives, and optimize market performance.
The successful candidate will support customers across Chile, covering territories from the Valparaíso Region through the southern part of the country.
Responsibilities
- Understand the business model and operate within established business process guidelines, including approvals for commercial actions and variance programs.
- Support dealers in forecasting, sales, rental, and used equipment strategies, as well as sales planning and execution.
- Assist with the rollout and commercialization of new products and services.
- Manage dealer relationships and business performance across the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular dealer business reviews and ensure corrective actions are implemented when necessary.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the territory.
- Present products, services, and value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long‑term business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and effective customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of customer needs and expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction remains a primary consideration in business decisions and solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations relevant to the construction and financial services sectors.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and make sound business decisions based on data and informed judgment.
- Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate ideas, information, and recommendations to customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiation: Ability to negotiate effectively with customers, dealers, and business partners while maintaining collaborative relationships.
- Relationship Management: Ability to establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, vendors, and internal partners.
- Account Management: Experience managing customer portfolios and providing ongoing support to existing accounts.
- Value Selling: Ability to articulate and demonstrate the value of products, services, and solutions to meet customer needs and drive business results.
