Title: Senior Business Analyst – Regulatory Finance Technology

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Model: 3 days on site

Duration: Asap - 26/08/2027

We’re partnering with our client, a leading global investment bank, to hire a Senior Business Analyst to join their EMEA Regulatory Finance Technology team based in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on strategic regulatory reporting initiatives, supporting the delivery of a new regulatory reporting platform and collaborating with global technology and business teams across Europe, the US, and India.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead business analysis activities across Capital & Regulatory Reporting projects, including COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, and Statistical Reporting
  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, including data sourcing, data normalisation, and reporting processes
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Middle Office, and Technology teams to deliver regulatory change initiatives
  • Produce and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications
  • Support solution design, implementation planning, and change management activities
  • Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC
  • Review and approve test scenarios and test cases while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure project governance standards are maintained and provide advisory support during build and testing phases
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while engaging with stakeholders across multiple global locations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven Business Analysis experience within a Tier 1 Investment Bank
  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory Reporting, including COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, or similar regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of financial products and asset classes such as Debt, Equity, and Commodities
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using SQL and Excel
  • Experience writing BRDs, reviewing technical specifications, and supporting Agile delivery
  • Exposure to ETL or BI tools such as Alteryx or Informatica
  • Experience with test planning, test scenarios, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across global teams.
