We're Hiring Mechanical Design Engineer / Product Design Engineer
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (On-site Preferred)

Aadya Inc. is an engineering and fabrication company specializing in the design and manufacturing of Special Purpose Vehicles, Mobile Command Centres, Emergency Response Vehicles, Capsule Homes & Container Homes, and Custom Utility Platforms for Government Agencies, Defence & Security Organizations, Infrastructure Developers, and commercial & industrial clients.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer / Product Design Engineer to join our team and help transform innovative concepts into production-ready engineering products.
You'll have the opportunity to take products from concept to deployment, working closely with engineering, fabrication, and field teams to deliver solutions that solve real-world challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Design structural assemblies, vehicle body layouts, and fabrication-ready components.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and continuous product improvement.
- Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with engineering and project requirements.
- Travel to project sites for inspections, installations, and deployment support as required.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience in fabrication design, structural assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering drawings.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into production-ready designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have
- Experience in automotive, defence, special-purpose vehicles, industrial equipment, modular/container structures, or heavy fabrication.
- Experience creating product renders, technical presentations, and concept visualizations using software such as KeyShot, Photoshop, Blender, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and product development.
- Familiarity with BOM preparation and production workflows.
