Warehouse Assistant

Intelligent Home is a leading provider of electrical, communications, security and smart home solutions across Western Australia’s residential construction market.

We’re looking for a experienced, reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support our growing operations team. This role is critical in ensuring materials, equipment and project kits are prepared accurately and delivered to field teams on time.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in organisation, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Picking, packing and preparing project materials
• Assisting with job picking and material allocation
• Maintaining warehouse organisation and stock presentation
• Performing stock counts and inventory checks
• Supporting rolling stocktakes and stock accuracy initiatives
• Managing returns, damaged stock and discrepancies
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Maintaining tools, equipment and warehouse consumables
• Assisting field teams with collections and material requestsFollowing company processes, procedures and WHS requirements

About You

• Has previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience (preferred)
• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Is physically capable of manual handling activities
• Can prioritise and work efficiently under changing demands
• Communicates well and works collaboratively
• Is comfortable learning systems and following processes
• Takes ownership and shows initiative
• Holds a current driver’s licence (preferred)

Highly Regarded

• Experience with inventory or ERP systems
• Experience in electrical, construction, technology or trade environments (preferred)
