Senior Unity 3d Artist Mobile
Enver
Job Description
About the Company
Enver is a leading VR game studio and publisher headquartered in New York City. We build viral, social gaming worlds and are known for top-tier publishing and marketing, with creator-led campaigns behind some of the biggest titles in VR, including chart-topping games on Meta Quest. Our specialty is social, live-ops driven multiplayer games built around communities, creators, and content loops.
Now we're taking that playbook to mobile. This is Enver's first global mobile launch, built on a major licensed IP, and one of the most ambitious projects we've ever shipped. You'd be joining as the studio scales from VR leader to global multi-platform publisher.
About the Role
A global, real-time multiplayer arcade football game for iOS and Android, live around the world. The game is in live-ops: new characters, skins, emotes, goal celebrations, stadiums, and seasonal event content shipping on a weekly cadence. Art is central to this game's identity: a bold, stylized look, and it has to sing on everything from a low-end Android phone to an iPhone Pro.
We are building out the internal art team and hiring multiple senior artists for this project. This posting is for strong generalists, and we care just as much about what you're best at: whether that's characters, environments, technical art, or leading a team, tell us your specialty when you apply.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality stylized 3D content across the game: characters, skins, stadiums and environments, props, goal VFXs and seasonal event content
- Own content from concept collaboration through modeling, UVs, texturing, rigging/skinning support, and in-engine integration in Unity
- Work within tight mobile budgets: clean topology, smart texel density, LODs, atlasing, and draw-call awareness across low-end to high-end devices
- Build content that plugs into our live-ops pipeline, working with our in-editor tooling for characters, emotes, and goal celebrations
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and VFX to make content that looks great and meets performance metrics
- Help define and document the art style, pipelines, and best practices as the team grows
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a 3D artist in games, with at least one shipped mobile title
- Strong stylized art skills: shape language, color, and readability at small screen sizes matter more here than photorealism
- Proven Unity experience: importing, materials, prefabs, and an understanding of URP;
you're comfortable owning your content all the way into the engine - Understanding of Shader Graph or Custom Shaders / Particle System
- Deep knowledge of mobile constraints and optimization: poly budgets, texture memory, overdraw, batching. Mobile profiling and optimizations.
- Standard toolkit fluency: Blender or Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush or equivalent sculpting
- A portfolio showing stylized 3D work;
live-ops content is a big plus - Excellent communication and self-direction in a fully remote team
- Good English Speaking Skills
Preferred Skills
We are looking for strong senior generalists but also know people have more experience in different areas and we welcome that.
Specialities we are looking for:
- Character / cosmetics artist: stylized characters, skins, accessories, and rigging-friendly topology
- Environment artist: stadiums, pitches, arenas, and set dressing with strong composition and lighting sense
- Technical artist: shaders (Shader Graph), VFX, optimization, art pipelines and editor tooling
- Lead-track artist: experience reviewing work, mentoring, and coordinating with outsourcing partners
Nice to have:
- Experience with live-ops content cadence
- Experience working with Remote Global Team Cross Time zones
- Sports games or licensed IP experience (working within brand and likeness guidelines)
Pay range and compensation package
$2,000 to $3,500 USD per month
Equal Opportunity Statement
We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
