Site Manager | New Build Schools

Location: North & West London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package

Our client is a well-established main contractor that has recently expanded its presence within the public sector, securing multiple new build school projects across North and West London.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a new build school project.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day site operations on a new build school project.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinating subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers to maintain programme and productivity.
• Monitoring health & safety compliance and maintaining site documentation.
• Chairing site meetings and liaising with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Driving quality standards and ensuring a smooth project through to practical completion.

Requirements

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering new build education or wider public sector construction projects.
• Experience managing projects from groundworks through to practical completion.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
