Role Description The Audio Lead will oversee all aspects of audio production and sound design for VFX projects, ensuring high-quality audio that complements visual storytelling. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves planning and managing audio workflows, coordinating with directors, producers, and VFX artists, and setting standards for sound across projects.

Day-to-day responsibilities include recording and mixing live sound, supervising audio editing and engineering, integrating audio with visual content, and maintaining AV systems in studio environments. The Audio Lead will guide junior audio team members, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate on creative decisions to deliver polished, immersive audio experiences. The role also includes contributing to behind-the-scenes, promotional, or social media content as needed.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Live Sound and Audio Engineering for studio and on-set environments.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Audio Editing and integration of sound with visual effects and animation.
  • Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with Social Media platforms for supporting audio needs in marketing or promotional content.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard audio software and DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic Pro, or similar) is preferred.
  • Experience in film, TV, or VFX/post-production audio pipelines is highly beneficial.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills to work effectively in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • A relevant degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Production, or a related field is an advantage.
