Job Description
Head of Marketing | High-growth InsurTech | Full-Time | London (Hybrid) | up to £100,000
About the Company
As the Head of Marketing, you will be the strategic and operational engine behind the demand generation and market growth. Our client is a fast-scaling geospatial risk intelligence platform redefining how the insurance industry locates, understands, and prices risk. From rooftop-level geocoding and property attributes to climate, peril, and catastrophe modeling, they transform fragmented information into decision-ready intelligence for leading global insurers, MGAs, and Lloyd's syndicates.
Following a strategic investment partnership, they are entering an explosive new phase of growth - expanding their international footprint, scaling their technology, and accelerating their go-to-market engine.
Operating in a high-growth scale-up environment, they champion absolute autonomy, radical ownership, and operational agility. They move dynamically from start-up flexibility to scale-up discipline, empowering their people to execute without layers of bureaucracy or hand-holding. If a candidate thrives in a rapid-iteration, data-centric culture where they are trusted to define the GTM roadmap, make high-impact commercial decisions, and see their work directly drive the enterprise pipeline every single day, they will find a massive opportunity here.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this role represents a complete reset of the marketing function. The business is looking for a data-led, commercially mindedHead of Marketing to build their enterprise demand-generation foundation from scratch.
This is a true "builder" role designed for someone who loves both strategic vision and hands-on execution. Managing one direct report initially - with a mandate to scale the team in line with business growth - the successful candidate will wear many hats: from refining brand positioning and executing targeted ABM campaigns, to optimizing the lead funnel and configuring the modern martech stack. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with the sales and product teams, this role is explicitly focused on turning demand into a qualified, revenue-generating pipeline across a small, well-defined set of target enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and scale an enterprise marketing strategy from scratch, mapping campaigns directly to an account-based GTM motion.
- Partner closely with Sales to drive qualified prospects into the funnel and support existing account expansion. A core measure of success will be generating leads that actively convert into sales-engaged pipeline.
- Focus relentlessly on high-impact channels - specifically scaling industry events, outbound, performance marketing, and webinars - while cutting through low-value noise.
- Leverage an AI-forward mindset and modern tooling to maximize output, automate campaign workflows, and amplify the impact of a lean marketing team.
- Manage budget distribution across channels to optimize CAC, maximize conversion rates, and ensure capital allocation yields positive ROI.
- Own the core messaging, value proposition, and competitive differentiation in the marketplace.
- Construct robust ROI models, build Salesforce/HubSpot reports with ease, and continuously communicate financial impact and pipeline velocity to executive leadership.
- Deep expertise in B2B SaaS demand gen and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies targeting complex enterprise accounts.
- Enjoys building a greenfield marketing function from the ground up and possesses a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude toward executing campaigns.
- Naturally curious about and adept at using applied AI tooling to drive outsized output from a lean internal team.
- Commercially minded thinker who loves diving into reporting, tracking CAC ratios, and optimizing campaign funnels using CRM and martech data.
- Proven ability to build tight, low-ego partnerships with Sales, Operations, Product, and external creative partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in a B2B SaaS or AI enterprise environment, ideally with exposure to scaling within the £3M - £15M ARR range in a PE/VC-backed setting.
- Demonstrated track record of hitting qualified pipeline targets and directly sourcing/influencing closed revenue.
- Expertise in event marketing as a core growth channel, paired with strong multi-channel campaign experience.
- Deep proficiency with enterprise martech stacks, Hubspot, and Salesforce reporting suites.
- Self-starter mindset with the commercial maturity to spot gaps, take immediate ownership, and drive business leverage.
Measures of Success
- Qualified pipeline created directly against agreed business targets.
- Increased reach, intent, and engagement within target enterprise accounts.
- Demonstrable impact on closed-won sales (both marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced revenue).
- Optimization of the CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) ratio.
- Hybrid model with a requirement to be in the Central London office at least 1 day per week to work alongside the sales team.
- Initially 1 direct report, with dedicated budget to scale the team as company growth milestones are met.
