What You’ll Be Doing

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a commercial insurance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent development through mentorship, performance management, and succession planning.

Business Growth & Portfolio Management

• Drive profitable growth and retention across the commercial portfolio.
• Partner with producers, account management teams, and insurance markets to deliver strong client outcomes.
• Support business planning initiatives and help execute strategic growth objectives.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure service standards, turnaround times, and client expectations are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and overall operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance on complex commercial matters and support escalated situations when required.

What They’re Looking For

• Significant commercial insurance experience, including exposure to complex commercial risks
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams within a commercial insurance environment
• Strong market relationships and business development capabilities
• Strategic thinker with sound operational and financial acumen
• Active RIBO license in good standing
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
