Business Analyst - Financial Reporting

My client, a global financial services organisation is on the look out for a Business Analyst with strong financial reporting experience on an initial 12-month contract with view for extension.

The Job:

• Support the delivery and enhancement of financial reporting and control applications within a complex financial services environment.
• Work across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, delivery, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Analyse and resolve complex issues escalated to development teams from frontline support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes.
• Support and mentor other Business Analysts across the wider team.

Have you:

• Experience working within global banking and investment markets, with a strong understanding of relevant financial products.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Proven experience delivering projects across the full project lifecycle, from analysis through to execution and delivery.
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to investigate issues and drive solutions.
• Experience working with financial systems, reporting applications, or control platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
