Senior SQL Developer

My client is seeking an experienced SQL Developer with strong experience in the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for writing high-quality, performant SQL using modern best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and solutions
• Write and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, and queries
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency
• Work with SQL Server 2019 and above, leveraging modern SQL features and coding practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GIT, JIRA, and other code repositories
• Ensure code quality, version control, and adherence to development standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–7 years of hands-on experience in SQL development
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
• Proven experience with SQL Server 2019 or later
• Extensive experience in stored procedures and advanced SQL development
• Strong background in performance tuning and optimization
• Experience using GIT, JIRA, and other source control tools
• Knowledge of modern SQL coding standards and best practices
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal supervision
