Product Assurance Engineer

Title: Software Product Assurance Consultant

Location: Brampton

Duration: 1 year

Security Clearances: Eligible for Reliability Status & Controlled Goods Program

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software product or quality assurance.
• Experience with Agile development (continuous integration/build automation).
• Strong knowledge of C/C++.
• Previous experience with MIL / NASA/ ESA Software and SW Product Assurance standards.
• Experience with verification and validation.
• Experience with product assurance of firmware/VHDL.
• Experience with software safety analysis and development and/or test of safety critical, real-time software solutions.
• Experience with automated testing/scripts.
• Experience providing technical direction and surveillance to ensure that the quality of the software and its development process adhere to program requirements and standards.
• Experience reviewing system-level designs and perform software architecture, requirements, and coding verification activities.
• Experience reviewing multiple stages of safety critical, real-time software design, development and test.
• Experience monitoring programs to ensure adherence to company and program standards.
• Experience chairing reviews of software Non-conformances and ensuring implementation of effective corrective action.
• Experience performing software re-use and safety analyses as required.
• Experience ensuring incorporation of software reliability, fault tolerance & maintainability features.
