Summary

Celestica's Global Supply Chain operates as a unified virtual system with our customers and suppliers by acting as seamless extensions of their operations. We offer customized, flexible and integrated supply chain solutions, supported by a global technology platform and a dedicated, market-focused team. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Associate based out of Toronto.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Celestcia's fast-paced and growing Hardware Platform Solutions SCM team. The Supply Chain Associate will be supporting multiple Supply Chain Directors and engaging with several global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely on multiple SCM accounts in Hardware Platform Solutions vertical.
  • Will be preparing quarterly pricing documents, costing analysis, pricing increase tracking, consolidating data from supply chain risk reviews and tracking part qualifications with the GDS team.
  • The individual will need to be able to manage multiple deadlines on multiple projects at once. Projects will include working with the Thailand, Mexico, Shanghai sites (amongst others).
  • Consolidates, tabulates, analyzes and reports on various commitment and performance metrics.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office (Excel, Access), along with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of specific customer needs.
  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Experience with SAP and Rapid Response would be an asset.

Typical Experience

1-2 years of relevant experiene or new grad with internship experience.

Typical Education

Bachelors degree with a prefereence for business or engineering.
