Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical)

Maintenance Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment across assigned facilities. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and new installations as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical/mechanical and lighting systems’ general operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Perform new installations of equipment.
• Check, repair, and replace components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe manner.
• Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Maintain broad knowledge of own discipline and some knowledge of related disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example, model consistent behaviors, and impact the quality of own work and team performance.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Explain complex information to others in a straightforward manner.
