Elastic Observability Developer

Salary: $80,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require an active DoD Secret clearance.
• We require DoD 8570 IAT II certification, such as Security+.
• We require Elastic Certified Engineer certification or an equivalent credential.
• We are looking for a candidate with proven hands-on experience building and supporting solutions on the Elastic Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
• We require strong Kubernetes expertise, including experience deploying and operating stateful workloads.
• We require practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• We require proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and integration.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm is required, with familiarity viewed as a plus in the source text.
• We value experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
• We require experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• We expect knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to cloud and data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork are expected.

Responsibilities:

• We will have the candidate design, build, and tune Elastic Stack solutions for ingestion, storage, search, and visualization.
• We will have the candidate develop and maintain data pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and custom integrations.
• We will have the candidate create and manage Kibana dashboards and visualizations for analytics and monitoring.
• We will have the candidate deploy, scale, and operate Elastic Stack components in Kubernetes environments.
• We will have the candidate integrate Elastic Stack solutions with OCI services for secure and efficient cloud delivery.
• We will have the candidate monitor, troubleshoot, and improve Elastic Stack performance and reliability.
• We will have the candidate collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
• We will have the candidate apply security best practices for data protection and access control within Elastic deployments.
• We will have the candidate stay current on Elastic Stack updates and emerging best practices.
