Job Description
We are partnering with a top-tier global institutional asset manager to hire a tactical, senior Process Engineer for a 12-month contract in Downtown Toronto.
About the Role
Are you a hands-on Process Engineering Manager with deep domain experience in Capital Markets or Private Markets? You will join an elite Process Engineering, Automation, and BI team to drive operational success for a multi-million-dollar digital investment transformation.
Responsibilities
- Drive Platform Transformation: Redesign end-to-end trading, operations, and portfolio workflows around major new enterprise platforms (including Aladdin).
- Define Operating Models: Determine future-state processes, key controls, exception paths, handoffs, and business rules across Capital and Private Markets.
- Bridge Consulting Gaps: Take high-level designs and translate them into granular, day-one executable operational workflows.
- Proactive Advisory: Facilitate complex stakeholder workshops, challenge inefficient legacy design, and present recommendations to senior leaders.
Qualifications
- Proven Process Engineering Background: Deep mastery of process mapping, current/future state design, controls identification, and operationalization.
- Investment Management Domain Knowledge: Direct, hands‑on experience in Capital Markets (trading, portfolio management, order management) or Private Markets / Infrastructure Investments.
- Tech-Enabled Redesign: Experience optimizing processes around new platforms, workflow, analytics, or automation tools. (Aladdin experience is a massive advantage!)
- Hands‑on Mapping & Documentation: Skilled with BPMN and complex workshop facilitation—capturing multi-stakeholder workflows, exception logic, and control frameworks.
