About the Program
Synechron Employee Enablement and Development (SEED) Program is a structured development path for recent graduates. Participants work closely with experienced consultants across a range of financial‑services projects, gain hands‑on consulting experience, obtain certifications, and ultimately transition to a full‑time consulting role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, understand, and communicate business requirements within the team.
- Collaborate on detailed design of solutions and define functional specifications with the Product Owner and project team.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements and manage product backlogs.
- Advise and guide the development team, recommend functional alternatives, and participate in defining project scope, including user stories, releases, sprints, and projects.
- Define and execute functional testing strategies, automated or manual, and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Participate in deployment strategies, perform testing, and contribute to resolution of defects and issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 6 months to 2 years of professional experience; candidates with more than 3 years will not be considered.
- Proficiency with JIRA, TFS, SQL queries, and test automation tools such as Parasoft, HP UFT, SoapUI, Cucumber (asset).
- Experience working in an Agile environment (asset).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage complexity, drive innovation, and maintain a customer‑focused approach.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Preferred (but not required): knowledge of cloud environments and cloud computing concepts; guidance on vendor management and advanced technology environments.
