Job Description

Aurum is an industry-leading window cleaning & property maintenance group of companies. We are currently looking for a unique and dynamic individual to create new business and build new and existing clients in the various regions we operate in Canada.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager creates long-term, trusting relationships with our customers with the goal of developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities. This position will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The key area of focus for this role will be to grow Aurum's business within the commercial, residential, and post-construction industries.

Salary- $70-$75k/year+Commission (Open to Negotiation)

Job Type- Full-Time Permanent, In-Person

Shift & Schedule- Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of client accounts, managing day-to-day communication and relationship management
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of each client's needs, service scope, and business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, including upselling and cross-selling additional services
  • Coordinate with operations, service delivery, and support teams to ensure client commitments are met on time and to standard
  • Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, performance reports, and renewal proposals to clients
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address service issues, escalations, or complaints
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing adjustments, and service agreements in line with company policy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, activity logs, and pipeline data in the CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Track account-level KPIs such as retention rate, revenue growth, and client satisfaction scores
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to forecast renewals and identify at-risk accounts
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to account management
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and company service updates to better advise clients
  • Represent the company professionally in client meetings, site visits, and calls
  • Meet or exceed assigned retention and growth targets.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience making a positive difference in an organisation
  • 3+ Years of account management experience in the service or operations industry
