About the Opportunity

An established organization in the spiritual-consultation industry is preparing to launch a new product focused on Vedic astrology, gemstone guidance and related spiritual services.

We are looking for knowledgeable and experienced Vedic Astrologers who can conduct professional online consultations and provide responsible, personalized guidance. Candidates with expertise in gemstone consultation, Vedic rituals, poojas and South Indian temple traditions will be preferred.

Product and brand details will be shared with shortlisted candidates during the selection process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one Vedic astrology consultations through video calls, telephone calls or online chat.
• Study and interpret birth charts, planetary positions, dashas, transits and relevant yogas.
• Explain astrological observations clearly and respectfully in Hindi and English.
• Provide personalized gemstone recommendations based on proper horoscope analysis.
• Explain gemstone suitability, purpose, wearing procedure, metal, finger, day and necessary precautions.
• Clearly communicate when a gemstone may not be suitable for the client.
• Recommend appropriate Vedic remedies, mantras, charitable activities, temple visits or poojas when relevant.
• Answer client questions patiently and maintain a professional consultation experience.
• Prepare short written consultation notes or recommendations when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information, charts and personal concerns.
• Follow the platform’s consultation process, schedule and quality standards.
• Participate in onboarding, training and product-feedback sessions.
• Help the product team improve consultation formats, customer questions and astrology-related content.
• Avoid fear-based predictions, guaranteed claims or unnecessary pressure to purchase gemstones, poojas or other services.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Strong practical knowledge of Vedic astrology or Jyotish.
• Experience interpreting birth charts and providing personalized consultations.
• Sound knowledge of gemstone consultation and planetary gemstone suitability.
• Previous experience conducting paid or professional online consultations.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both Hindi and English.
• Confidence using video-calling, scheduling and digital communication platforms.
• Professional behaviour, patience and strong listening skills.
• Ability to explain complex astrological concepts in simple language.
• Willingness to work on a consultation-based schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates who have one or more of the following:

• Fluency in Tamil or another Indian regional language.
• Knowledge of important temples, rituals and spiritual traditions of Tamil Nadu.
• Formal education, certification or traditional training in Vedic astrology.
• Training and practical experience as a Vedic priest or ritual practitioner.
• Ability to conduct different types of poojas, homams, japas and Vedic rituals.
• Access to an ashram, temple, spiritual centre or suitable place where requested rituals can be conducted.
• Experience advising Indian and international clients online.
• Experience creating educational astrology content or appearing in consultation videos.
• Existing client reviews, consultation ratings or testimonials.

Consultation Standards

The selected astrologer will be expected to:

• Join scheduled consultations on time.
• Maintain a calm, respectful and non-judgmental approach.
• Provide reasoned recommendations based on the client’s horoscope.
• Avoid exaggerated, frightening or guaranteed predictions.
• Never guarantee medical, legal, financial, marital or fertility outcomes.
• Avoid recommending expensive gemstones or rituals without an appropriate astrological basis.
• Protect client privacy and confidential information.
• Disclose any conflict of interest connected with gemstone or ritual sales.
• Maintain accurate availability and consultation records.
