Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an AutoCAD Designer specializing in swimming pools and water features. The AutoCAD Designer will prepare and refine detailed architectural and construction drawings, including layout plans, sections, and elevations for pools, spas, fountains, and related installations. Daily responsibilities include interpreting project briefs, coordinating with project managers and engineers, ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and codes, and updating plans based on design reviews and site feedback.
The role involves space planning to optimize functionality, aesthetics, and safety, as well as maintaining organized drawing files and documentation. The designer will also support tender documentation, bill of quantities input, and provide technical drawing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings skills to produce precise plans, sections, and details for swimming pools and water features.
- Candidates should possess solid Drawing and AutoCAD proficiency to create, modify, and manage 2D/3D CAD models and technical layouts.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize design layouts for functionality, safety, and aesthetics in residential and commercial pool environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients, and to clearly explain design intent and requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD tools) and familiarity with industry standards and building codes related to pools and water features.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, with experience in pool, landscape, or water feature design preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with site teams, understanding basic MEP layouts, and prior work in construction or architectural firms will be an advantage.
