Fund Accountant

Permanent Fund Accountant Position | $120,000 - $140,000 + Super | Brisbane CBD Location

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare monthly financial accounts, cash flow forecasts and performance reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage treasury activities, distributions, payments, banking and working capital to maintain adequate funding and compliance.
• Oversee audits, BAS, statutory lodgements and regulatory reporting while liaising with external advisors and stakeholders.
• Support business operations through trust administration, process improvements, financial analysis and ad hoc finance projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce with a CA/CPA qualification and at least 5 years' experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong technical accounting skills with advanced proficiency in Xero, accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and deliver accurate outcomes with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and customer-focused mindset.
