HR/MC TRUCK DRIVER

Total Asphalt is the leading local provider of asphalt, committed to delivering high-quality services across the Goldfields. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Truck Driver to join our transport team and support our growing operations.

Position

HR/MC (preferred) Truck Driver

Location: Kalgoorlie-Boulder WA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Timely, safe and efficient delivery of asphalt to the road crew.
• Perform deliveries to nearby towns as and when required.
• Maintain the truck and trailers in neat, tidy, and clean condition at all times.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on machines and attend daily Pre-Start Information (PSI) meetings.
• Keep accurate records and report issues promptly and assist with actions.
• Perform other duties as instructed.

Qualifications

• Minimum valid unencumbered HR License.
• Candidates holding a valid MC (Multi-Combination) Driver’s License are also encouraged to apply and will be given preference over other license categories.

Must Have's

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving 6 wheel tippers or similar.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and report maintenance issues.
• Those applicants with experience towing live floor trailers, semi's and floats and having experience with equipment moves using a float and possessing the appropriate license category will be given preference.
• Physically fit and able to assist with general maintenance tasks.
