Job Description
Position is based in Bogota and will operate on a flexible work model.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for completion of federal, international and state VAT tax returns including all related analysis and support
- Prepare external reporting of the tax obligations
- Keep abreast of the variances in state and local jurisdictions and create plans to minimize the amount of taxes paid by the organization across these entities
- Work directly with external auditors and understand tax compliance
- May be involved with merger and acquisition activities and other tax planning activities
- May be responsible for compliance
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Advanced / Fluent English
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in multinational companies within tax department
- Microsoft suite knowledge
