We are hiring a Director of Nursing for a leading Nursing home in Dublin, Ireland. We are also hiring DON for : Waterford Clare Kilkenny Meath Limerick Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the nursing home.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, regulations, and statutory requirements. Promote and maintain a safe environment by overseeing Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Previous experience in carrying on the business of a designated centre is essential Relevant qualifications and accredited training with supporting documentary evidence required Excellent clinical, leadership, and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sound decision-making ability Minimum 3 years experience in a nurse management role Minimum 3 years experience nursing older persons within the previous 6 years Post-registration management qualification required Level 8 qualification in Healthcare Management, or Level 9 qualification with a management module in progress or completed by 2028, in line with updated Health Act requirements Candidates must have at least 3 years experience at management level Benefits €1,000 non-discretionary end-of-year bonus 25 days annual leave Other benefits RecruitNet is also hiring HCA, Staff Nurses, CNMs, ADONs, DONs for various hospitals and nursing homes across Ireland.
