Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking qualified Education Support Teachers to work across our K‑12 school in Busselton. The role involves supporting students with a range of disabilities through explicit teaching strategies and effective classroom management, collaborating with primary and secondary staff, and engaging with families, therapists and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, programme and assess learning using an integrated curriculum differentiated to meet individual student needs.
- Implement the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach and the Berry Street Education Model.
- Manage a team of Education Assistants to create a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary planning and contribute to school community activities.
- Use evidence‑based teaching practices, reflect on and seek continuous improvement of own work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Significant experience working with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of PBS and Berry Street Education Model is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility, commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Eligibility
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or visa with valid work rights.
- Apply for a Western Australian Working with Children Check before commencement.
- Consent to a National Criminal History Check and obtain a Screening Clearance Number.
