Job Description

Position

Casual Registered Nurse at St Vincent's Care Service Yennora (Rosary Village), a 141‑bed facility located approximately 29 km from Sydney's CBD.

Role Overview

As a part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team, you will help create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Service Yennora.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with individualised needs, preferences, and choices of residents.
• Lead a team by example and exhibit leadership skills.
• Follow directives as per care plan and maintain accurate records.
• Use practice guidelines such as the Heartprint model to provide compassionate, holistic, person‑centred care.
• Maintain high level of customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

• Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an aged‑care facility (preferred).
• Understanding of aged‑care and resident rights and responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience in record‑keeping with Autumn Care (or similar) desirable.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History or NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Work Schedule & Availability

Flexibility and availability to work nights, AM, PM any day of the week.

• AM shift: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm
• PM shift: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
• Night shift: 10:30 pm – 6:30 am
