We are proud to be partnering with one of Austalia’s largest construction contractors who deliver landmark projects across government, health, institutional, retail and commercial industries. Their projects are nationally-renowned and include both government and private sector clients and range in scale up over $1B. They will be a major contributor to building South East QLD’s Olympic infrastructure as well as hospitals, institutional , and educational projects in the $100M-$500M range.

The successful Services Manager will be responsible for managing all services packages from the ECI in design through to construction and commissioning. The project pipeline includes several university projects on the Gold Coast as well as hospital, retail and up-coming Olympic venue re-developments.

Responsibilities

  • developing the design for the various services in a D&C environment and Liaison with all stakeholders including client, consultant and authorities
  • Management of the D&C development package with the services sub-contractors and consultants, including reviews of all shop drawings through to I.F.C status
  • Management of the services site Q.A. system (sample submissions, I.T.P.’s and I.T.C.’s, R.F.I.’s, etc.)
  • Review and management of all services sub-contractors SWMS and associated site documentation
  • Supervision of the special requirements associated with the PC2 lab areas
  • Liaise with adjoining landowners, sub-contractors and local authorities (Energex, APA, GCCC)
  • Co-ordination of the services installations and confirming that these installations are completed in accordance with the relevant plans, specifications, and Australian Standards

About You

  • Proven experience as a Building Services Manager, Services Engineer, or similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong background delivering large-scale institutional, hospital/laboratory or educational projects
  • Degree and/or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic disciplines
  • Strong understanding of design coordination, services delivery, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage complex building services packages across multiple project stages
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
