SAP FICO CONSULTANT (HYBRID LISBON OR PORTO)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position

Location: Portugal (Lisbon or Porto)

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

Work Model: Hybrid – Mandatory onsite attendance 2 to 3 days per week

Seniority: Senior (5+ years)

Priority Requirements

This position is focused on an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant capable of supporting both implementation and application support within Finance and Controlling environments.

The client is primarily looking for professionals who have:

• Strong functional expertise in SAP FI and SAP CO
• Application support and enhancement experience
• Functional design, configuration, testing, and post-Go-Live support
• Integration experience with other SAP modules and external financial systems

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and application support for SAP FICO solutions.
• Participate in SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
• Work collaboratively with both the client's internal team and Axians consultants.
• Support Finance and Controlling business areas.
• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Produce functional specifications and solution designs.
• Configure and customize SAP FICO modules.
• Perform functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide post-Go-Live support.
• Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules and external financial systems.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate solid experience with:

SAP Finance (FI)

• FI-AP (Accounts Payable)
• FI-AR (Accounts Receivable)
• FI-AA (Asset Accounting)

SAP Controlling (CO)

• CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
• CO-PC (Product Costing)

Additionally, candidates must have experience with:

• SAP MM integration
• SAP SD integration
• SAP PS integration
• SAP HR integration
• Web Services and financial system interfaces
• Business requirements gathering
• Functional testing
• Post-Go-Live support

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with the following will be considered a strong advantage:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Financial closing processes (monthly and yearly)
• Financial and tax reporting
• Treasury systems
• Procurement systems
• SAF-T
• VAT (IVA)
• Portuguese accounting regulations

The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant who has worked in complex SAP environments, either within consulting companies or large enterprise organizations.
