About you
- Possess a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or near qualification)
- Demonstrable experience in financial management, including managing multiple cost centres and preparing management accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
- Strong organisational skills with a record of meeting deadlines and working independently
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Eligible to work in Ireland and the UK
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
What you'll do
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across programmes
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with organisational controls and policies
- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing development of financial systems, including new modules and upgrades
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on financial procedures and systems
- Ensure accuracy of financial records through reconciliations and data reviews
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance team
