About the CompanyOurclientisa financial services company. They are looking for a who will be responsible for leading corporate level planning, forecasting, and performance reporting, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, the Operating Committee, and the Board of Directors. In addition to deep technical ownership, this role manages and mentors direct reports and plays a key role in advancing planning tools, automation, and data storytelling across the organization.
This is an enterprise level role with significant stakeholder exposure and influence across the business.

About the OpportunityStrategic Planning, Budgeting, & Forecasting
Lead the consolidation and analysis of forecasts and budgets against company objectives, both in aggregate and at the business unit level, including multi-stage review with executive management
Support the Managing Director, Financial Performance Management in preparation of presentation materials and target setting
Co-lead the planning tool, governance and design, both from the perspective of financial performance management mandate and as the owner of the Financial Planning Model
Lead the design, implementation and continuous advancement of the planning tool. Manage the long-term strategic forecast model consolidation presented to the strategy committee and the Board of Directors
Manage impairment testing models for quarterly and annual testing
Corporate Performance Reporting & Insight Generation
With a focus on forward-looking action and valuable insights, responsible for creation of corporate performance reporting packages to the operating committee and the Board of Directors, including contributions to content selection, key messages and insights, and collaboration across the finance team
Continually assess and provide constructive guidance on how the enterprise and business units are measured, including creation of dashboards and focused KPIs that lead to more impactful insights
Prepare various supplementary schedules, analyze and proof the quarterly and annual MD&A, Press releases, Investor Relations presentations, CEO and CFO communications with shareholders and analysts, Annual Information Return and annual report
Monitor enterprise leading indicators to identify operational and financial performance gaps, drive action or provide alternative approaches
Proactively explore data to identify trends, patterns and insights;
use data storytelling to deliver insights to drive enterprise operational efficiency
Create systems that automate manual business processes
Steward of financial data model of the ERP systems and the construct of enterprise financial engineering, educate, govern and maintain integrity of coding and work tag adoptions
Collaborate with finance technology, Enterprise Portfolio Governance, Integration office, strategy and front-line finance business partners to identify opportunities to transform the central team's processes and workflow in supporting organizational growth and expansion
Other
Lead, manage, coach and develop a team of finance professionals
Key control within the CEO/CFO certification process
Assist the Corporate finance & development team with any projects
Integration of centralized financial reporting services arising from acquisitions
About You
Experience & Education: 8–10 years of progressive finance experience;
University degreeplus CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop staff through complex or ambiguous environments.
Strategic & Analytical: Superior organizational and conceptual skills with a"big-picture" focus and meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced financial modelling, SQL, and BI tools expertise (e.G., QuickSight, Power BI).
Salary Range$135,000 - $155,000/year
