Location: Gravesend, Kent

Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education Kent is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher who can break down challenging concepts and make mathematics accessible to all learners. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong problem‑solving abilities and a lasting appreciation for numbers and logical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑planned Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Build student confidence and develop strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills.
• Utilise assessment data to track progress and provide targeted intervention where needed.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Mathematics examinations.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, including Key Stage 4.
• Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
• Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
