Join Our Team as an HR Admin at Epiroc!
The HR Admin plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function by ensuring accurate documentation, efficient HR processes, and a high level of employee support and engagement. This position manages a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including recruiting coordination, file management, employee communications, HR systems support, and plant‑floor employee services.
Work Type: This position will be based onsite at our Dexter, MI facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Manage the HireRight background check process, including initiating screenings, collecting documentation, and communicating with candidates
Coordinate hourly recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics
Support onboarding processes, including Dayforce account setup, new hire orientation, and documentation tracking
Maintain employee training records, including sign‑offs, cross‑training matrices, and SOP documentation
Organize and upload personnel files (e.g., onboarding documents, background checks, corrective actions, promotions) to ensure compliance and accessibility
Maintain accurate HRIS records (Dayforce/HR Link) and assist employees with system access and troubleshooting
Draft and distribute internal communications to plant employees
Support employee engagement initiatives on the plant floor, including idea generation, communication, and vendor coordination
Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries and HR assistance
Assist with employee programs, events, and recognition initiatives
Perform additional duties as needed
Knowledge / Education
High school diploma or GED required
An associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Minimum 1 year of HR or administrative support experience required
Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to collaborate across departments and build relationships at all levels
Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) preferred
Experience with Smartsheet and/or ERP/MRP systems is a plus
