Business Analyst

Job DescriptionBusiness Analyst,6-month contract initially with high expectation for extension. Dublin city centre/Hybrid 2 days a week onsite. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning and implementing a range of projects under the company's strategic transformation programme.

Supporting the investigation, analysis, design & configuration, testing and implementation of new systems, and upgrades of existing systems. Responsibilities: Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives. Contributes to selecting the requirements approach.

Facilitates stakeholder input, provides constructive challenge, and enables effective prioritisation of requirements. Establishes requirements baselines, obtains formal agreement to requirements, and ensures traceability to source. Applies standard techniques and tools for developing user stories and eliciting user experience requirements.

Organises and structures user experience analysis. Works with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and resolve conflicts. Follows standard techniques to investigate and analyse the size, nature and impact of changes to operational activities.

Contributes to the recommendations for change management plans and actions. Supports implementation and engages with stakeholders under direction. Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.

Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan. Manages the execution of business process improvements. Analyses and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and exploit new technologies and automation Experience required: Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a business analyst.

Understanding of the complexities of implementing a commercial off-the-shelf software solution. Knowledge of the tools and techniques of business analysis from requirements elicitation through to dev, test, UAT and business readiness. Knowledge or willingness to learn healthcare IT/eHealth projects e.g.

PAS, Pathology, EMR Knowledge or willingness to learn national health informatics standards such as FHIR or HL7 Awareness or willingness to learn the processes, procedures and workflows related to the collection and storage of clinical patient information Skills: Business Analyst healthcare ehealth TPBN1_IJ
