Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician – responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across multiple customer sites. The role includes working a 5/4 shift pattern with flexible roster that may change on short notice, covering day, afternoon, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a 5/4 shift pattern: 3 days and 3 nights, including shift scheduling.
• Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Work autonomously or as part of a small team, making decisions on the fly.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work across multiple sites, adapting to short‑notice changes.
• Support and cooperate with payroll, safety and documentation activities.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification – Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australia).
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, automation, or Maximo CMMS (preferred but not required).
• Capable of working independently or within a team.
