Position
English-speaking Chemistry Teacher — starting September 2026, Paris, 15e arrondissement.
Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry and Science to middle and/or high school students in English, notably in the context of the IB diploma.
- Develop engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in the broader life of the school, including meetings, projects, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in English.
- Degree in Chemistry or related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred).
- Teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural community.
Desirable
- International teaching experience.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based or bilingual education.
