Job description:

  • Supervise product testing, analysis and quality assurance standards are being followed for all product lines.
  • Work with production managers and senior technicians to develop and maintain efficient SOPs.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to solve complex technical problems.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures and product prototypes.
  • Provide technical support to other team members as needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement changes in the systems accordingly.
  • Maintain documentation database of all Regulatory Compliance approved products, get reports updated when required and work with Compliance Factory Inspectors.
  • Work with Regulatory agencies such as UL, CSA, TUV and ETL to Test and obtain applicable compliance approvals on Manufactured products.This includes both EMC/EMI and Safety Testing and approvals.
  • Coordinate the compliance testing including getting quotes, providing all documentation, all test samples and equipment and on-site at regulatory agency during testing of the products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product engineering or a related role.
  • Knowledge of product development processes, including design for manufacturing, scalable testing, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience with circuitry design and interpreting schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for solving complex problems.
