SF Partners are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious private equity backed business during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
Following continued investment, the finance function is evolving into a best in class team, with significant investment in systems, processes and financial reporting. As part of this journey, we're looking to appoint an ambitious ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who wants to develop their career within a modern, commercially focused finance function.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you'll gain exposure across group reporting, financial control, statutory reporting, audit, finance transformation and continuous improvement, giving you the opportunity to become a key part of the business as it continues to grow.
The RoleAs Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls and supporting the ongoing development of the finance function.
You'll be involved in:
- Preparing monthly financial and statutory reporting
- Producing month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
- Supporting the preparation of consolidated group accounts
- Assisting with the annual external audit process
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and group accounting policies
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting VAT, statutory and regulatory submissions
- Contributing towards budgeting and forecasting
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
- Supporting finance transformation and systems improvement initiatives

About YouWe're looking for an ambitious accountant who wants to continue building their career within a growing business.
You'll ideally br:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
- Trained within a Top 20, national or well regarded independent accountancy practice
- Strong financial accounting, statutory accounts or audit experience
- Either looking to make your first or second time move from practice or have relevant industry experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of UK GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- A proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business
Experience preparing accounts for owner managed businesses, groups or complex audit clients would be highly advantageous.
