Position Title: Project Manager, Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship
Status: Full-Time Administration Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Longo Faculty of Business, Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship
Campus/Location: Lakeshore, North and Downtown Campuses
Starting Salary Range: $97,491; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.
Duration of Need: Until August 31, 2027

Work Locations: Lakeshore Campus

Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets for key projects.
- Ensure documentation and workflow charts are up to date for all unit projects and deliverables.
- Coordinate project-level initiatives with other COI Project Managers.
- Monitor and evaluate all programs and initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings for the Director and other business unit meetings.
- Facilitate, coach, mentor, and guide direct and indirect reports to support people development.
- Build a positive culture, collaboration, communication, and purpose understanding.
- Assist project teams in preparing tools, processes, and project documents.
- Review project outcomes and adjust approaches to subsequent projects for process improvement.
- Develop communication materials related to the activities and deliverables of the unit for internal and external audiences.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships on behalf of the Longo CfE Director.
- Lead the production cycle for Longo CfE reports, newsletters, and website content.
- Coordinate the distribution of information within the unit and across the College related to the Longo CfE.
- Organize and coordinate high-profile events with Government Relations and Marketing and Communications involving political/government stakeholders on behalf of the College.
- Design and deliver workshops, presentations, and other supports for entrepreneurs as needed.
- Conduct research and analysis to develop reports and provide recommendations on postsecondary trends, college strategic directions, and government initiatives.
- Research new areas pertinent to education and innovation in entrepreneurship.
- Support the Longo CfE Director in the development of funding initiatives.
- Coordinate confidential reports and submissions to government, Board of Governors, and senior administration.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship, business administration, or education (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience/Skills: Minimum of four years of experience in a related role in entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship centres, and/or incubators/accelerators. Preferred experience in starting a small business or innovative startup. Preferred skill areas include entrepreneurship, business administration, project management, marketing, or leadership.
