A secondary school in Southeast London is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Geography Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Monitor, assess, and support student progress.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Geography curriculum.
• Participate fully in the wider life of the school and Humanities department.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have a strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Be committed to raising achievement and promoting student success.
• Have strong communication and organisational skills.Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
