Sales Development Representative

Overview

Startup LegalTech disruptor using AI to transform how consumers access legal help. LawConnect is launching in the UK and seeking an SDR/Business Development role to help build momentum in a fast-paced, autonomous, high-performance environment. Flexible, hybrid role based in Battersea Power Station.

What you’ll do

• After validation in Australia, contribute to launching LawConnect in the United Kingdom, with initial focus on London and surrounding regions.
• This is a hunter role. As the Business Development Manager, own the phone—manage high-volume outbound calling to law firms, pitch them onto a free trial, and convert them into paying customers.
• Open conversations with firm owners and principals, articulate value quickly, and guide the relationship from activation to paid product.
• Execute a high-activity, multi-channel sales motion to sign new firms.
• Hit and exceed monthly targets (minimum 15 dials/day; 20–25 expected).
• Deliver a sharp, consistent pitch that lands the value proposition and secures a free trial.
• Handle objections confidently and maintain dial and talk-time volume without sacrificing quality.
• Report accurately on activity and pipeline, and provide insights to inform the sales playbook.

What you’ll bring

• 1–3+ years in sales (SDR, BDR, AE, recruiter, or similar) with strong outbound experience.
• Comfortable with multi-channel outreach: phone, LinkedIn, email, Zoom & Teams.
• Proficiency with AI and productivity tools is an advantage.
• Coachable, competitive, resilient, and thrives in a target-driven environment.
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with decision makers.
• Natural at building relationships with new contacts fast.
