Account Executive

Job Title: Accounts Executive (2–3 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts and record financial transactions accurately
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations regularly
• Support budgeting activities and track expenses against budgets
• Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance filings
• Prepare documentation for audits and assist auditors during audit processes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records
• Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of financial information
• Maintain backups of financial data and records

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B. Com preferred)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP basics)
• Experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in startup or technology-driven companies
• Exposure to audit processes and financial reporting
• Basic understanding of international/US accounting (added advantage)
