Dynatrace Engineer

We are seeking a talented Dynatrace Engineer to join a global technology team supporting mission-critical platforms within a large international organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Dynatrace platform, enabling end-to-end observability across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and digital services. This role will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence, performance optimization, and proactive incident management.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain the Dynatrace platform.

Implement and optimize monitoring solutions across applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud environments.

Configure OneAgent deployments and ensure proper monitoring coverage.

Develop custom dashboards, alerts, reports, and service-level monitoring.

Analyze application performance and infrastructure metrics to identify bottlenecks and root causes.

Support incident, problem, and change management activities.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to improve observability and service reliability.

Implement and maintain synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring (RUM).

Develop monitoring standards and best practices across the organization.

Automate monitoring and reporting tasks where applicable.

Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience working with Dynatrace.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Dynatrace Managed or Dynatrace SaaS

OneAgent deployment and configuration

Distributed Tracing

Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

Infrastructure Monitoring

Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM)

Synthetic Monitoring

Real User Monitoring (RUM)

Problem and Root Cause Analysis

Experience with Linux and Windows environments.

Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with monitoring modern application architectures, including microservices and APIs.

Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM processes.

Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript.

Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with observability practices and SRE principles.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Elastic.

Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or financial services.
