THE BUSINESS

Aritzia operates at the intersection of fashion, performance, and what it calls “Everyday Luxury.” The company blends high-growth retail with a strong internal culture focused on talent, execution, and brand experience across North America.

THE TEAM

The Sustainability Department is responsible for embedding responsible practices across products, operations, and the broader value chain.

Think less “reporting function,” more “business transformation engine.”

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is where climate ambition meets execution discipline.

As Senior Manager or Manager, Sustainability Strategy (Decarbonization), you will help design and operationalize Aritzia’s decarbonization strategy across supply chain, logistics, and operations.

This role is not theoretical. It is about turning climate commitments into measurable emissions reductions.

THE ROLE

You will lead and enable a team to:

  • Define and execute Aritzia’s climate ambition and decarbonization roadmap.
  • Reduce environmental impact across the full value chain in alignment with planetary boundaries.
  • Measure, track, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate targets.
  • Integrate sustainability initiatives into core business functions for real execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive impact.
  • Support team development while maintaining high performance and delivery standards.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

You bring both technical credibility and execution strength.

You likely have:

  • Experience leading climate strategy, governance, and organizational change.
  • Strong knowledge of decarbonization levers such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, circularity, water stewardship, and sustainable materials.
  • Familiarity with climate disclosure frameworks including GHG Protocol, TCFD, and CDP.
  • Experience working with complex datasets and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Power Query.
  • A strong ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision‑making.
  • A mindset focused on quality, results, and business value creation.

COMPENSATION

$150,000 – $300,000 annually

Total compensation may include base salary, bonus, and equity depending on experience and scope.

PERKS & BENEFITS

Aritzia leans heavily into employee experience. Highlights include:

  • Generous product discounts and private shopping events.
  • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave.
  • On-site fitness studio and wellness programs.
  • 24/7 virtual wellness support.
  • Premium office environments designed for creativity and productivity.
  • Additional perks such as dry cleaning, healthcare access, and lifestyle discounts.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

This is not a compliance role.

It is a leverage role.

Retail has one of the most complex supply chains on the planet. If you can decarbonize here, you are not just improving a company. You are influencing an entire ecosystem of materials, manufacturing, and logistics.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and provides accommodations throughout the hiring process where required.
