General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general accounting for the group's entities (bank, various operations, fixed assets, foreign exchange differences, exceptional items, etc.).
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings (account reconciliations and matching, adjustments, provisions, month-end journal entries).
• Prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, TVS, CVAE, etc.).
• Prepare financial statements and tax packages in coordination with the manager.
• Enter bank transactions, perform bank reconciliations, review trial balance/general ledger.
• Contribute to improving accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bac+2/3 (BTS, DUT, DCG, etc.) in accounting/finance or management
• At least 5 years' experience as a company accountant or 3 years in an accounting firm
• Proficient with IT tools and accounting software (notably Oracle NetSuite)
• Good knowledge of the services sector; experience in a communications agency is a plus
• Proficient in French accounting standards (PCG, ANC 2022) and tax regulations
• Accuracy, strong organizational skills, autonomy and a sense of confidentiality
• Adaptability, team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
