Position Overview

As an Application Engineer in our engineering team, you will support the growth in order intake and provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the application lifecycle. You will work closely with sales, engineering and product development to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. The role reports to the VP of Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities

• Represent KSB Canada’s interests and corporate image in a professional manner.


• Develop and maintain customer relationships.


• Respond to inquiries for products and services promptly and professionally.


• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, providing expert advice on selection, implementation and optimization of pumping systems.


• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and design customized solutions leveraging our products and services.


• Create technical documents and drawings within an acceptable timeframe, accurately portraying the proposed solution.


• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, communicating technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.


• Coordinate testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet quality standards, performance requirements and compliance regulations.


• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues, resolving challenges and addressing inquiries in a timely manner.


• Assist in developing training materials and technical documentation to empower customers and internal stakeholders.


• Support and assist sales personnel to increase success for the company.

Competencies & Qualifications

• Time‑management skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Technical competence in fluid systems and centrifugal pumps


• Detail‑oriented and meticulous


• More than 3 years of experience in rotating equipment


• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field


• Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD

Full‑time, Permanent. Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Discretionary annual bonus.

Schedule & Location

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Location: Mississauga – in‑office role.
