Senior Business Analyst – Tax & Regulatory Programme

Contract

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major Tax & Regulatory programme. This role will focus on requirements gathering, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the delivery of complex regulatory reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering activities across a large-scale Tax & Regulatory programme.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across implementation, tax, custody, and programme delivery functions.
• Analyse complex custody, transactional, and client data sets.
• Support the delivery of regulatory and tax reporting obligations.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional documentation.
• Participate in testing phases, including external client testing activities.
• Support remediation workstreams through accurate reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to programme planning, delivery execution, and stakeholder workshops.

Required Experience

• Significant Business Analysis experience within financial services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within custody, wealth/asset management, or institutional asset servicing environments.
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following:
• Withholding Tax
• Tax Reporting (CRS/FATCA)
• Experience analysing client and transactional data, including complex transaction types such as repo activity.
• Understanding of custody-related reporting obligations.
• Experience working with institutional clients and complex trust/partnership structures.
• Exposure to trade booking and regulatory reporting processes.
• Strong data analysis and reporting validation capabilities.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a senior-facing BA capacity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Xceptor.
• Exposure to reporting submissions to custodians or regulators.
• Experience within remediation or regulatory change programmes.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO).
