Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intensive Care Specialist role based in India. The Intensive Care Specialist will provide direct critical care to patients in intensive care units, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing clinical data from Smart-ICU systems, and making timely, evidence-based treatment decisions.

The role involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting clinical protocols, and contributing to the training and mentoring of onsite staff. The specialist will also document care accurately, communicate clearly with patients’ families when appropriate, and support the implementation of Cloudphysician’s technology-enabled care pathways.

Qualifications

  • Relevant medical qualification (e.g., MD/DNB Anesthesiology, Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, or equivalent) with recognized certification (PDCC, IDCCM, FND, DrNB, DM) in intensive care.
  • Clinical skills in managing critically ill patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and acute resuscitation.
  • Experience working in ICU or high-dependency units, with familiarity in evidence-based critical care protocols and guidelines.
  • Comfort with using digital health platforms, patient monitoring systems, and electronic medical records to guide clinical decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make sound clinical judgments under pressure.
  • Commitment to patient-centric care, continuous learning, and participation in training or upskilling programs.
  • Prior experience in technology-enabled care models is an advantage but not mandatory.
