1. Reportfood safety and quality issues to personnel with authority toinitiate action
2. Ensure that all work isperformed according to pertinent GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA and allestablished regulations
3. Maintain a clean andsafe work environment at all times
4. Readblueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine workprocedures
5. Install, align, dismantle and movestationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such aspumps, fans, tanks conveyors, furnaces and generators according tolayout plans using hand and power tools
6. Operatehoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors toposition machinery and parts during the installation, set-up andrepair of machinery
7. Inspect and examinemachinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularitiesand malfunctions
8. Install, troubleshoot andmaintain power transmission, vaccuum, hydraulic and pneumaticsystems, and programmable logic controls
9. Adjustmachinery and repair or replace defectiveparts
10. Operate machine tools such as lathes andgrinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenanceor set-up of machinery
11. Clean, lubricate andperform other routine maintenance work onmachinery
12. Construct foundations formachinery or direct other workers to constructfoundations
13. Assemble machinery and equipmentprior to installation using han and power tools and weldingequipment
14. Additional items as assignedfrom Company's Electricians
